Anyone else getting mud and dirt collecting in the bottom inch or two of the doors, inside under the black rubber strip connected to the door. The car wash doesn't get it clean. That's about the only thing i don't like on my new truck.

 

I wash my own trucks and always clean that out with a damp rag followed with a dry rag. I think maybe the car wash jets will push all that up in there and not allow it to drain out of there. Dunno.

 

roger that...03's do it too...I wash mine of with damp rag and dry as well...It can get real nasty under there and probably rub through the paint and start rust....best to keep it wiped out.

They all do it. 3rd gen engineering job.

 

I use the low pressure rinse and run the wand along the bottom edge of the door. It does a good job getting grit out of the seal.
