Is there is still a warranty (engine) on 2001.5 cummins 2500 with under a hundred thousand miles. I have a 2001.5 with 72,000, or is there like a 5 year expiration date? I bought it from the original owner 5 months ago who bought it new.

 

Cummins has a transferable 5 year 100,000 mile warranty, starting from the day the truck rolled off the lot.
A dealer can tell you when the truck left the lot by using your VIN.

Do you really live in a town called "Boring"?

 

Yes believe it or not, I live in a town called Boring, Oregon, and it lives up to it's name. It is a small town outside of Portland about 20 miles east. We have 2 stop lights and 2 taverns, a post office, fire station, 2 schools, and one gas station. Sidewalks come in around 8:00pm and on weekends 9:00pm. Beautiful town. Come visit us if you have a case of insomnia, guaranteed to cure it!!!! Thanks for the info (bostiguy) on the warranty.
