voltage info

just to let anyone know that dont know, DONT expect the wiring to be 12 volts everywhere in or out of your truck. finding out the hard way that a lot of the wiring voltage is less than 12 volrs and dont really know where to look to find out what it should be for instance found out that the cruise control wiring is 5volt or a little over and that the wiring colors on the wires is not the same nor is it on the schematic that it changes when going to the switch. just a word to anyone that needs a little help. if anyone know excatly how many volts goes to the swirch please let me know thanks

You might start with a FSM. It has most test procedures and results for component testing with some exceptions.

Factory Service Manual by Dodge. Geno's probablly has one in stock. The Owners manual also has place to order from in addition. The aftermarket manuals don't generally have the detail of FSM.
