upper ball joints

upper ball joints

so i have never worked on a ifs suspension, accept torching it out of my old toyota. i need to replace the upper ball joints. specificly the right as it is broken and the truck is undriveable. is there a good write up anywhere on this? i have searched and i cant find pictures or anything like that. i have a press and all air tools i think i could possibly need. any more guidence would be greatly appreciated. i cant belive i am asking for help, but some times u gotta swallow the pride and get r done.

ok so i just did it. it was supprisingly easy. it no doubt will have to get an alignment tomorrow. it would have been nice if air tools could have been used on all of it but such is life. the joint itself was easy to get out. a few wacks with a BFH and it was done. then a quick 4 pumps on the press and the new one was seated. all in all only about an 1 hour job.

i thought about it but on a college budget the uppers are all that was gonna happen
