unnormal black smoke
everybody around here has been sayin that there trucks have been blowin black smoke for no reason. i've not realey noticed in my truck, cause it blows it all the time, but it looks like a little more than normal? i drove a few of ther trucks and the 5spds are doin it on the top end of 2ed and 3rd gear, and the autos, takin off, and after shifin into 3rd? everybody around here has noticed mainly in stock trucks?
this dont make any sence, cause the sulfer is being cut out of the fuel, i could see it if more was being put in
i cant figger it out

This is just a shot in the dark here...
If your truck is stock, then u shouldnt have too much smoke, if so, then you probably have a minor boost leak somewhere. I can recall that when my smoke was excessive, i had the intake hat on my truck blow the rubber boot out of proportion and it would cause the smoke. I have seen on other trucks that smoke alot, that the intercooler boots are blown, or leaky as well.
If the smoke is more than usual u can check those out..

well i go to prosser with 2 of em and we pressure(smoke) tested the intercoller and no leaks, so i dunno and cleaned the map sensor. no difference in milage or nothin everthing the same
Hot air is less dense than cold air. So, for every given volume, there will be less oxygen in hot air than cold. Less oxygen, with the same amount of fuel, makes a rich condition and will more likely see smoke.
