Turn Signals Stop When Brake is Pushed

So I just took a long drive to Washington and while on the drive I noticed that my turn signals would stop flashing when I used my brakes. I checked each turn signal and each on works, then I checked my brakes and the bulbs work fine. If I turn on my hazards and push in the brake pedal the flashers work fine. Anyone know what else to check?

Have you changed bulbs lately? You may have them turned around in the socket.
