You have a couple wires shorted together under the dash or inside the steering column cover.
Turn the key on and make the problem appear then start moving wires around.
You might be able to isolate where the problem is coming from.

If the problem appeared after replacing the MF switch it would be suspect.
Always the first place to look for electrical problems is in the vicinity of any recent electrical work.
The vast majority of electrical problems are owner induced.

Thanks for the help. I knew of the problem when I bought it (killer deal couldn't pass it up). I have a 98 parts truck here so I grabed the multi switch and the light switch from it and put them in my truck. They didn't affect it at all.

Maxcu, is your parts truck up for simple parts? I need a seatbelt buckle assembly. Send me a PM if interested. Thanks, Baron

Loud Turn Signal Flasher Unit

Never thought I'd be one of those old guys driving around with his turn signal perpetually on all the time...but with the drone of the Cummins, it happened to me. Local officer pulled me over and explained that is one of the tell-tale signs they look for with drunk drivers. The officer, whom I knew from coaching baseball together years ago, shared a laugh on getting old.

I stopped at Autozone and picked up a loud flasher unit and embarrassingly spent more time than I care to mention finding the flasher unit. [Driver's-side dash panel] I can actually hear the signal on now! Good $5.99 investment.

he doesn't need that.... his windshield wipers will let him know if he leaves the turn signals on.

I would rather have to buy a loud turn signal then have wipers tell me that my signal is on.

diggerphd. I see that you have a Cessna. I am currently working on getting my Ultralight licence. My dad and I bought a Beaver 650 ultralight and we are just waiting for the good flying weather.
We just got 10cm (4in) of snow last night and it is whiteout conditions now.
