trip meter broken

Any way to fix or replace the trip meter without replacing the whole gauge bezel?

If it is like my 97 you can replace individual gauges. I replaced mine from a wrecked 97 so my 458k truck now shows 162k on the odometer. There is no way (on mine) you can replace just the trip meter.

I was thinking more like changing the gears inside the actual assembly but who knows. Maybe I will just try to take a bezel apart and get the parts I need.

GAmes, My folks live in Florence. You in the Army?

Retired from the Army in 93. I tried taking mine apart before I replaced it, to see if a gear was stripped or???? I couldn't figure out how without breaking it. Perhaps you can.
