When I got my truck back from the autobody/paint shop. I noticed my doors had a sticky quality about opening them. Along the top inside edge where the door meets the weatherstripping is some kind of sticky material like something was there but taken off. I found a small piece of material in my door pocket that looks like it would fit perfectly around there. Before I go back and complain, I just wanted to make sure that there actually was a piece of black plastic trim that went around the upper inside edge of the door where it meets the weather stripping.

 

On my 02, on the main doors, there is a small vertical piece of hard plastic, maybe 3-4 inches long located on inside door edge, right at the top of the door.
