transmission quick disconnect fittings

Ok this was on wifes jeep but my ram has same fittings. What is the procedure for removing them? I have the fuel injection , a.c. quick removal tools but wont work. Looks like some one else had same problem one end of hose all cut up and gnawed off. Changed radiator and just ended up putting on high quality rubber hose and installed barbed ends. So to make a long question short , when i finnaly get the tranny line for my Ram with the port for a temp sender I need to know how to remove with out causing damage.

On the '94, you need to pull a hairpin clip out to remove the fitting. The gasline fittings are a bit trickier, and if memory serves, the fittings are different in different locations.<br>george
