Towing Mirror Questions

I have a few questions. I bought a set of Kool-Vue mirrors off craigslist. Unfortunately they did not come with the brackets or the studs. Could anyone educate me on whether or not an OEM Mopar Towing Mirror bracket could work? It should work I think and the OEM Brackets are easier to get around here than the Kool Vue brackets. Another question that I may already know the answer to. The stud size.....are they 6mm studs that are 2" long?
Thanks in advance!

can't help you with the stud specs . . .

however, i think you are correct in thinking the factory tow mirror brackets will work fine

I had the factory non powered/heated tow mirrors and swapped them with the Kool vues and used both the backer plates and studs from my previous mirrors on mine.
