Re: Tires, which ones
This is a good topic.. BUT what we need to make a more educated decision is more information.. when talking about mileage the tires get it would be so much better if the poster would post what percentage of their driving is highway/city.. and how much of the time are they loaded and what sort of weights they haul.. how much off road driving they do (and how the tire does).. That way we can compare apples to apples for our driving situation.... in some cases here i bet we arent even comparing vegetables to vegetable.. lol
Without more information you dont understand why one person gets 50 - 80k out of the stock Michelin A/S 265/75/16 tires and someone else barely gets 20k out of theirs..
Someone using their truck as driving across country is typically going to get a lot better tire life than someone who drives 80% of their time around town..
Just a thought. and a suggestion..

Re: Tires, which ones
Thats a good idea. I changed my tires out but had 50k on them and could have got at least 10k more. I tow about 4 to 5 k miles a year and run empty majority of time to work and back, 60% frway driving. Very little to no offroad driving.
