Tire Warranty ??

Going in for new tires, Discount seems to have best price, they are trying to talk me into buying the "certificates" for $25 per tire. Complete cost covered for new replacement if anything goes wrong no matter how much life is left in the tire. Anybody have any experience with or is it even worth it?

Thanks

I always bought my tires through Discount with certificates, but I have recently been buying my tires online sans warranty. In the last 18 years, I have only used the certificates twice. I figured I can replace two tires if necessary and still come out ahead pricewise for the cost Disount wanted for my Toyo MTs.

However, I know several people who can find a 'road hazzard' and replace their tires one by one when the tread is about 1/2 way gone.
