My truck is a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500

I have been looking at suspensions for a while now and I am ready to buy.

I have a few questions that maybe someone could help me out with. I am looking at the Tuff Country 4.5 inch lift. I don't plan on taking my truck off road. It is my DD and I just want something better looking.

My questions are:

1. How do I go about changing the 5 inch coil spacers to lift springs and shocks? I don't like the idea of that big of a spacer.

2. What brands should I be looking at for the shocks and lift springs?

3. Do I need to be concerned about brake lines at this height? If there is a issue could I use SS braided brake lines.

4. I would like to run the 4.5 inch lift with a 3 inch body and 37s possibly 38s. At this tire size what would be the best looking width?

can't answer all questions - but what about the unbeatable kore springs (2") with a 2" spacer for a total of 4 inches? for the rear just get new leafs custom made or install blocks. for the sway bar end links, lazarsmith sells a steering stabilizer with a 2" drop incorporated for the sway bar, then just get 2" longer sway bar end links, again lazarsmith makes these . . . .

 

I am not looking for that small of a lift.

 

figured maybe you would sacrifice the 1/2 of lift for ride quality.
i was talking strictly suspension, body lift would be seperate components wouldn't it?
