Re:temp control valve

I am not sure if your talking engine coolong or people cooling. Engine cooling is the ECT located front passenger side of engine, above the A/C compressor and belt tensioner area. People cooling is under the dash and is vacuum/computer controlled. If you need more information let me know and I'll get it out to yuh. I didn't do much research cause I didn't know which to research. I have a vacumm chart for the A/ and heat controls and most anything you may need. Hope I can help yuh and I believe there is also a check valve that tests out at 8 psi. Anyway, get back to me with the specifics and remember that I am slow and a bit like HOSS. So use small words and write very slowly cause I can't read to fast.

Re:temp control valve

Agnew sounds familiar but I can't say I would know him all that well. You need a message dropped of or something, cause I can look him up for yuh. On your A/C question, I believe by my books it is all right there behind the dash adjustments(A/C Controls assembly) It has a vacumm control body and a check valve down line from it. I am at work and my books are at home, so I'll have to get back at yuh this evening. PM me on the Agnew thing.

Re:temp control valve

i was thinking right, there is a gear on back of the switch that drives a cable up and down to control the water valve. my cable was sticking, so a little lube and it works like a champ. i did have to pull the facia off the dash, but it needed a good cleaning anyhow.
