Stereo

In my 2000, I had one of the front stock speakers go out (it's not an Infinity system), so I picked up a full set of Kenwood speakers. Now that I've replaced all the stock speakers, only the passenger rear 6" seems to be working.

I've verified that the connections are secure, and the harness plug in the back of the head unit seems secure too.

Are the connections to the speakers polarity-specific? Sorry, I'm definitely no car stereo guy.

Thanks,
Mike

I'd double ck the connections. If still uncertain, you can take a AA battery and put the lead wire to the speaker to it to test the connection. If you have the right +/- for a speaker, you'll hear a "click" noise from the speaker. My guess is that you may have some of the wires mixed up..... This will help identify which ones go where.
