steering is horrible!!!!
Heres the deal...my truck has 5 inches of lift with all of the stock steering components. I have 2 problems.
1. My wheel has TONS of play. My box doesnt leak and everything looks ok. Just a TON of play in the wheel. Stabilizer perhaps? Adjustment?
2. My trucks turning radius is horrific. I dunno if somehow it was adjusted or what but makes Uturns like a limo. I actually noticed a four door long bed F350 out Uturn me. Is this normal?

1. Good news: your steering box is probably shot. Replace it with a PSC box. Bad news: everything else in probably shot too. Start with the track bar and work your way to the tie rod ends and ball joints.
2. Turn your wheels lock to lock and make sure you're getting full travel at the stops on the knuckle....

Welcome to the Dodge world.
Check you steering box as sugested and check the bushings on your controll arms, I'll bet they are toast as well.
I replace mine every 6 months and am now gathering parts to build my own using factory rubber bushings.
I installed a D.S.S. after I replaced the steering box and that helped allot.
Dont forget to check your track bar, I'll bet its shot as well.

The DSS is needed on a stock truck. Can't imagine driving a lifted 2nd Gen without the DSS. On my 96' I bought the Napa tracbar. Lifetime warranty. There's other options and lots of debate on who makes the best tracbar.
Two places to buy the DSS:
