Starting problem

Have a 1994 Dodge 2500 2-wheel drive automatic and am having a starting problem. Sometimes it will turn over but not start. I move gear shift or jiggle key switch to get it to start. What could the problem be?

Perhaps the contacts are worn on the starter. Mine did that too. Very common problem. Cheap to fix. Any electric motor shop can do the job for you but an easy fix if you are so inclined. If this is your problem, don't let the "Counter Parts Man" talk you into a whole new starter (350.00+). Do a search of this forum with 'starter contacts' as key word. Good Luck!
