Someone said this was the "holy grail"
Just wanted to let everyone know that I found a 98 Quad cab 12v 4x4 Cummins short box SLT Laramie. It has about 163k mi on it and is for $18000 CAD, or about $14500 USD.
Is that worth buying?
Ian

I paid 13,700, the exact same truck, last September with 170K on it, It never towed just a commuter back and forth to work, all maintaince records DSS, KDP timed at 16.5 all from Mass diesel with receits, new front rotors and loaded calopers, track bar, used nothing but Fleetguard and mopor filters and ATF+4. And I LOVE this truck others think it is brand new.
I found it in the 4 sale section on this site and TDR.
Hope this helps.

A truck in this configuration is very hard to find (especially in BC)...Ive only come across a few of them....If its in good shape and you can veryify proper maintenance - buy it you wont be sorry - just be prepard for the possibility of doing some tranny work in the future. Price is a tad high, but you are in BC - everything is expensive.

The truck is a buddy's, so its pretty good. He wouldn't sell it to me if it was crap.
Cheers,
Ian
