Seat Belt Light Staying On

Hey guys, today on the way home I noticed that my seatbelt light will not turn off. It was fine this morning, but not this afternoon. Truck runs fun, no issues there at all. I haven't bothered to check around yet. Has anyone seen this before? If so, what was the problem?

Mine acts up every once in awhile too, but only when it's really cold outside.

It's cold out, but only 32 degrees or so.

Have you check the multi-pin connectors under the seat?

I haven't checked anything yet. I just noticed it a few minutes ago on the way home.

Re:Seat Belt Light Staying On

Mine did the same thing on Monday. I fiddled with the latch turned the truck on and off, nothing would make it go off except killing the ignition ??? ??? So I left the truck idling while I went in and talked to my dad About 15 minutes went back out and the light was off. This is the only time it has happened.?????

Re:Seat Belt Light Staying On

I'm gonna go check the harness after dinner. This is the first time it's ever done that. Weird

I read there is a seatbelt module problem on 99's mine has done this several times but light will go out. It may not happen for the next month then will start acting up again.
There has been alot of talk on TDR about this http://www.turbodieselregister.com/f...der=descending
