rough ride

My truck is a 1998 12V 2500 4x4. The ride is pretty rough, on bumps and potholes due to the rear springs. The main leaves of the spring appear to be almost touching the short, thick leaves at the bottom of the pack.
The truck came with camper auxiliary springs but I removed those last year.
Has anyone fixed this problem, maybe by replacing the main leaves?
thanks

what do you use your truck for. and what are you honestly wanting?
I'm happy for now with bilstien shocks air bags, helper springs on the lift. it rides better but still it is a 8k lbs. truck so it can be rough pending how and where you drive it.

Just throw 1500-2k lbs in the back and they ride very nice = problem solved very easy fix.

Starter kit from www.thecarlisuspension.com. Sage supplies hemi coils for your front and the rear minipaks will help some in the rear. My '98.5 beat me to death with KORE's setup.
