Rotor thickness
I've had very poor luck as have many others having these rotors turned.
Not all that much more to just buy new ones.
Use the right pads and don't let them rear down to the rivets and the rotors will easily last half a million miles
I use high quality Brembo rotors from www.tirerack.com

2nd gen 4x4 front rotor min thickness is 1.465 inches. If you are going to get them machined, by far the best method is to find a place that has an on-car lathe. Much more accurate than removing this type of rotor and trying to set it up accurately on a conventional lathe.
