Reverse Light

I went to get my truck inspect today and failed because my reverse lights do not come on when I shift into reverse. Is there a fuse on the side of the dash I need to be looking for or is there a sensor in the transmission? Thanks guys, I only have 2 days to get this thing inspected again before I face fines.

Fuse on the left-hand side of the dash - yes. Mine goes out occasionally and it's always that fuse and it seems it happens if I connect up a trailer with the battery still connected in the trailer. For whatever reason, that does it.

Fuse is a 10amp I believe.

Thanks, simple fix. Guess I should keep extra fuses handy.
