removing stock front bumper

removing stock front bumper

how many bolts is it? im having trouble getting to two bolts that appear to be holding it on, any tips on getting stock bumper off to put a ranch hand on?

Memory tells me 6 bolts, four near the frame rails and two at the fenders. The four in the middle are fun to get to. Take the plastic covers off if you haven't already (squeeze the plastic tabs from the back of the bumper if you don't want to break the clips) to get some more room, or cut the head of the bolt off. Removing the plastic inner fenders helps a lot too.

There are three bolts in the middle of the bumper, per side on the frame, and one bolt per side on the brace that goes from the outside of the bumper back to the frame.
The 6 middle bolts on the frame should have the factory bolts that have the head held on a metal bracket to keep it from spinning.
This should make it so you only need to spin the nut off and not have to hold the bolt head to keep it from spinning.
