Rear sliding window buzz / rattle - driving me nuts!

I've tried moving it around, sliding it tighter, further apart when closed, jamming pieces of paper in there, I can't seem to get the back window latch to quit buzzing/rattling...anyone have this issue? How did you fix it?

My old 95 ram gasser had that same problem too. i had a very bad buzzing and rattle sound from the slider and the first thing i did was put a new latch on it, that kinda helped for a little but it still did it. IT also seemed the colder it was the worse it got. I too had tried moving it around an such and would kind of like to know what to do to fix it in case my 02 ever starts rattling or buzzing.

You should hear the buzz with 5" stacks right there.....When it gets warmer I'll be looking for a fix for it.

My 96 had that buzz. I found some drill shavings down in the window channel. I have no idea where they came from but after I cleaned it out there was no more buzzing sound. It was real bad on that truck too because I had a Gibson Supertruck exhaust that vibrated everything. The window is still quiet after all this time.
There might be something trapped under the glass of your window...

Hmm, doubt I have any shavings but it's definitely worth a check! It sounds like it's the plastic latch.
