Rear Air Bag Setups

Looking for pictures of rear air bag setups (both the actual bag mounting and air management if you have a tank and all).

I am planning on salting this winter and want to help keep the truck level with all the weight in the rear.

How is everyone doing the air? Are you tieing both sides into the same line, or separate sides with separate pressures?

Running mine with separate lines. I want the same pressure in both bags all the time. Didn't want one bag to fill the other when heavily loaded and going around corners.

Well, technically they ARE the same pressure at all times but as weight shifts the connected bags allow air to transfer from one side to other.

My only question is, what's an easy way to plumb them to work with two separate sealed systems and no compressor? Two schrader valves?

Yes, you are correct, the pressure will be the same in both if they are plumbed together. I meant to say that I didn't want the air transferring between bags due to weight shifting. Fingers couldn't type what brain was thinking

I used 2 schrader valves and just put them in my rear bumper (after market bumper), one on either side of the license plate. Easy access for filling from an air hose. I have a Viair compressor, just need to install it.

Well, ideally I'd love a compressor set-up. It's just more of a headache than it's worth in the salt belt. I do my best to keep the truck as clean as possible during the winter, wash it regularly with one of the under spray washes, and drive other vehicles if at all possible.

Point being, I could see a lot of connections/electrical issues in the future. I saw a set-up where someone put the valve in that gap between the tail gate and the bumper where the tire hoist crank is.
