Rattle in Engine Compartment-NOT THE ENGINE!

Rattle in Engine Compartment-NOT THE ENGINE!
I have a rattle that is coming from the driver's side of the truck, down about where my feet are when I'm driving. 
It makes this noise while going down the road, and sitting there idling, but really bad when letting out on the clutch on launch, when the truck lugs down (I launch out of second). ??? Any help is appreciated.
PS. Someone told me to check engine mounts, any substance in this advice. Thanks Again
