radio replacement - dash panel removal?
radio replacement - dash panel removal?
Thinking about replacing the old, cheap radio with
a new, cheap radio.
Any good tricks on removing the plastic trim surrounding
the instrument panel? Other than a good yank, crack, and
"I told you so"?
Thanks,
Lowell

Maybe nothing.... I have a mental thing about not being able to remember that all 12v's are not 1st Gens....
But I do think they got thinner (and cheaper) on the 01's & 02's. I helped work on a 99 that seemed a lot thicker.... and a lot harder to get loose. Just how it seemed to me?

The 12v I have now I have to take out a few screws to pull it off.
But the 99 the dash was pretty thick, I tugged on it pretty good a few times, never worried about cracking it. And it wouldn't suprise me if DC figured out that they could save a few cents by making it thinner...
