Question for owners of a 2nd gen WITHOUT factory fog lights... Does the headlight switch panel light up?

Mine doesn't and I'm wondering if it's because I don't have factory fog lights, or if it's because the backlight is burned out. My last truck had factory fogs and the headlight switch lit up.

Mine lites up, only because I had to replace the back light bulb. Not hard though, pop off the bezel, 3 screws to get the switch loose, and the bulb was one of them 1/4 turn jobbies. Super simple.
