I can't remember, but I think at least part of it does.

Mine doesn't and I'm wondering if it's because I don't have factory fog lights, or if it's because the backlight is burned out. My last truck had factory fogs and the headlight switch lit up.

Fairly sure mine does, but now I'll have to look.

Anybody know how to change out the backlight? Is it just a bulb?

I think its a sealed unit. You have to replace the entire switch?

It might be your lucky day. Last night I saw a headlight switch on e-bay. I think it was less than $10 too.

I guess it really isn't even worth replacing, is it? After all, that's a pretty hard switch to misuse. LOL.

My thoughts exactly. Mine is burnt out too. I don't know for how long, but obviously it wasn't important because I had to ask someone else a while ago when I noticed, if it should even be lit (I couldn't remember )

fog lights

Mine does and I suspect that the backlight is a green LED. If it never has worked suspect that it wasn't soldered in at factory.

Mine lites up, only because I had to replace the back light bulb. Not hard though, pop off the bezel, 3 screws to get the switch loose, and the bulb was one of them 1/4 turn jobbies. Super simple.

What color was the bulb?
