Pyro-CB

Okay Guys need your help!
I have been running CB on truck for 2 yrs. Just recently when
I key the mike Pyro will drop about 200 degrees every thing
on Pyro looks good. Geting power for CB through power point.

I have always got my power and ground for cb's straight from the battery,as I have had bleed over from other systems before,like the stereo and such,goodluck Rick

Sounds like you're getting RF into the guage from either the +12V and ground connection, and/or the thermocouple wires. Here's what I would do:

As the poster above said, run dedicated 12 and ground directly from the battery.

Go to Radio Shack, and purchase a couple of ferrite loops. They look like square donuts that hinge open. Use one for each wire. Take a couple of turns around each of the ferrites and snap the loop closed. They should be located as close to the guage as possible. The choke you've created should keep stray RF out of your guage.

You show that you have the Isspro EV gauge. That means you have the amplifier box for the pyro. This little box is getting interference from the CB. You must be tied into the same power source. If you cant stop the interference by tapping into, say the cigarette fuse which is all by itself useing a 20a, then I would suggest running a hot lead straight from the battery to the CB. I heard that has to be done sometimes. Maybe you should give Isspro a call also and tell them your situation. The amplifier box may be bad.
