Popping noise from front end

I am getting this popping like noise over bumps at slow speeds. I also seem to get it when braking or when slowly accelerating or turning and cornering. Some days it is worse than others. I have recently had a lot of the front end replaced. This is a list of what has been replaced. Truck has 430,000 miles
1. All 4 Ball joints
2. Trac Bar which now has a lukes link
3. Lower Control Arms
4. All front U-Joints
5. All 4 shocks

Any ideas, as this is very annoying, would be awesome!

Check all bolts. I was getting a poping from the trac bar at the axle, it was a loose bolt. Also might want to have someone turn the wheel while you get under the front, might be in your tierods.

The most common pops are, as mentioned above, the track bar bolting at the axle end, also the lower shock bolts may not be tight enough and are allowing the bushing to pop around.

Another item to check is sway bar links and bushings. If worn out they will slap around.

I've had all three.

I second the shock bolts I thought for months my front end was going too fall out then when I had some room in the shop I pulled it in there and hammered on the lower shock bolts and what do you know it stopped.

I do not feel anything in the steering wheel but I can feel it in the floorboard. I will try the shock bolts this week and take a look at the trac bar bolts.

I'll lay money on the lower shock mount bolt will be tight BUT the shock will still move up and down, reach in with a long screwdriver/prybar, try lifting up on the shock body, if you feel it in the floor boards, its a loose shock, it takes a lot of pressure on that bolt to squeeze the mount around the shock bushing, try beating on the metal around the bolt head with a punch and tighten it again

Another thing since you feel it in the floorboard, you might want to check your control arm bushings. I had one seize completely on the driver side. Only knew this when because i was switching them out for longer arms. Thing was like a spring when we unbolted one end.

I got underneath and found the passenger sway bar link has a lot of play in it. Will it hurt to drive it with this play for awhile?

You never know how long a failing part will last. I remember seeing ST sway bar links at Autozone. They weren't very expensive.

Nope, doesn't hurt to drive with it like that. Mine have been shot for a while now, but I being a college kid I can put up with the little bit of noise they make until I can prioritize some funds towards them. Last I checked there were some cheapies on Ebay for $35, and Moogs were around $60.
