One Taillight Out

As it says, I have one taillight that isn't working. Brake and turning light work fine, but the taillight on my drivers side rear doesn't work. I tried a new bulb last night, but that wasn't it. (it was getting dark so couldn't work on it any more)

I do have one of the trailer wire connectors that plugs into the wiring by the taillights and haven't checked into it yet. Anything else that could be the culprit? The other taillight comes on fine, so I don't think it would be the switch, but maybe someone knows different.

Thanks for any help!

When I first bought my dually, all the lights were screwed up. No brake light, left turn signal was fine, right turn signal would blink and both reverse lights, 4 ways would blink both taillights and reverse lights. It ended up beng the trailer wiring that plugs into the sockets. Yanked that and it all worked fine.
