Howdy All, It's been a while since I posted on this site, but my new purchase(a 1997 3500 4x4 dually) has a few gremlins I would like to stomp out.

1st - I filled the fuel tank and the fuel gauge needle went to full then five minutes later it went to empty and stayed there. bad ground or sending unit?

2nd - the brakes feel hard but work, The pedal barely moves and if I push really hard they will lock-up. Possible glazed brakes or bad calipers?
