hello again!

I decided that it might be a good idea to ask about my AC issues with the 98while I am at it. The fan does some very weird things. First, it does not work when the pickup is started. Cols air comes out, but there is no fan. While driving slowly, the AC will blow cold, but very slowly even at the highest settings. However, after getting up to highway speed, everything works fine. Could this be a vaccum problem, a short or what? Since the air out of the vent is always cold, I assume that this is a fan issue. Sorry, I am trying to get these things sorted out by tomorrow!

Drop the fan assy out and see what is really going on. Beleive three bolts on right lower area of dash.

 

put the heat controller on something other than AC and turn on the fan- does it work?
