I have an 02 dodge and when is cold it take about a quarter of mile or half for the turbo to start working. Engine rev's but no turbo. Also when going down interstate step into peddle no response but down shift to 5th then its fine turbo picks up and I can shift back to 6th. Anybody have any idea I thought maybe something wrong with my wastegate?

Check for code p0216. Sounds more like dead pedal to me.

Yep went to autozone scanned the codes and dam got the dreaded 0216 code lucky for me its still underwarranty for the rest of the year. Thanks guys for your help.
