No Cruise after clockspring repair

I broke my steering wheel clockspring, ordered one and installed it.
Connected all the wiring correctly just like old one, everything works fine except cruise.
I don't even get the Cruise light on dash.

It was working great prior.

Is it computer activated or mechanically activated, also looked for a fuse, couldn't find anything.

As far I can see there is only 1 way to install it, centered on wheel and connect all the wires to it.
There are 4 sets, the jellow plup goes to Airbag, the single gray to hors, blue set to left cruise and black set to right cruise controls.

If you don't install it correctly it will break as soon as you turn wheel fully one direction or another, and you'll have to fork another $ 50 for it.....

Check if any female connectors may have been expanded and might be making poor contact. For the cruise to work you need 100% good connections.
I've also seen some clock springs come gooped too heavily with dielectric grease, make sure the grease isn't bridging the gap between connectors.

Infidel, I know you are the forum "guru", I've read some of your replies and you're great.

Anyway there are no "goopy" areas, it's a complete sealed unit with the wires coming out.
To install it you have to have the wheel and tires perfectly straight.

How's the control of it, is there a fuse/relay/breaker, is it computer controlled or vacuum or else ?
