No ABS
I've searched and nothing worked so far. Tested the vac pump, fine, new senser in the diff, pulled the fuse, still the same.
I was pulling my boat out of the water and the lights came on. A few pumps on the brakes and they went hard, lights went on but it returned to normal after a few seconds. The only problem is the lights are on and the ABS stoped working. What now?
Cheers

This will cause the brake light to come on warning you of low vacuum but usually it goes off after normal vacuum is reached.
I know on my '95 that just messing with the ABS system will turn the lights on and they won't go off for a long time even if the problem is corrected.
I'm told it's because a braking problem sets what's called a hard code, one that can only be turned off with a scan tool or waiting for 75 engine start/stop cycles.
Assuming nothing is wrong some folks have had luck turning the lights off by disconnecting the batteries for awhile.
This doesn't explain why your ABS isn't working though.
Are you sure about this?
First assumption I'd make is the water caused a short in the connector to the sensor. Unplug and dry it off but it may not make the lights go out even if ABS returns.

I'll have a look at the wiring, the truck didn't touch the water. I regressed the connector after I installed the diff sensor.
I'm positive that there not working, two black lines when I hammer the brakes. Not having abs is not a problem, the lights on make me feel like a dead beat just ignoring them.
The only other thing is the first couple low speed(5-15kms) shots on the brakes makes the rear end clatter, like the rears are locking. There's no brake/diff fluid leaking on the drums.
Any and all clues are welcome. Winter is coming and it's going to be put a sleep for it, so the problem needs to be fixed so it doesn't get worse in the spring.

Might sound dumb but did you check your fuses? In most cases, the fuse that feeds the brake warning lamp also feeds the ABS warning lamp. Inspect the fuse that feeds the warning lamp circuit. Is the fuse functional? Is the brake light on and the abs light?

They will grab till the rust is worn off.
Quite common in damp climates.
About the only thing you can do is be aware of it and brake easily the first few times of the day.
