Question No 4WD light in dash

I had 2 lights in my dash "burn out".. Low fuel and the 4WD light.

I replaced the low fuel light and the 4wd light.. Only the low fuel light comes on when you turn the key on and all the lights glow.. I tried the low fuel bulb in the 4WD spot but it still won't work..

ANY ideas??

Thanks!

Does the 4WD work? If so check on the right side of the frame right by the ac compressor to see if a piece of the fan belt hasn't cut through those two wires. I had this happen to me when I threw a fan belt and the 4WD light wouldn't come on for this reason. Only thing a can think of right now.

The wires did get disconnected.. but I cut the connector off and reconnected it using a wire splice.
4WD works fine.

Shouldn't it illuminate when you turn the key on to test?

Check your PMs

what it usually is, remove the connector and blow it out, that is what i did with mine previously, and it worked just fine, it is probably just got dirt or mudd in it from wheelin.check both connections, maybe one is grounding out...

I'm more worried about the light not coming on when ALL the lights illuminate in the dash when you turn the key on. I know at one time the light did work.
