Over the past while I'd been having some trouble with my 93 so I parked her and plan to fix it up right down to the smallest little issue. I needed to take my time and do it right and this turned out to be the best way possible. With that in mind I also found a new truck I just couldn't pass up. She's a 98, reg cab, 12V, 5 speed, 4x4, Dana 80's, 186 000kms(approximately 115 000miles) with all the critter features. It had recently been a plow truck but the front end was rebuilt and a new paint job was also arranged. It came from a good Chrysler dealer so it was well taken care of. There's no rust anywhere really. I paid $12 500 Canadian. The one thing that bugs me at the moment is sometimes it'll take to a severe belt squeel. I'm guessing it might be the alternator but I'm unsure. Overall it's a sweet truck.

Does the A/C work? that may be the squeal as well if the clutch or compressor are seized . sounds like a nice ride congratulations

 

Yup, AC works fine. It might not have been used much and maybe it'll come out of the squeel after awhile.

 

try thorwing one of the goodyear "gatorback" belts on it , they ae supposed to help with that squeel.
