New stuff.
New stuff.
I sold my Toyota on sunday so I have had a little $$ to spend on the Ram now. I put a new steering box on it and it seemed to help the wandering a little but it still does it some. New shoes for the old girl today! I went with LT 285-75 Yokahama Geolander AT s and they look great. I haven't driven it yet, my wife got them put on today while I was at work. Man they are quite a bit bigger than the old 265s that were on it, P rated at that. I'm really hoping the stiffer side walls of these D rated tires will do wonders for the drive. I sure didn't remember the tread being this deep on the one in the show room. I also ordered a set of guages today from Rod at Wildcat diesel. I got the Isspro EV series if I remember right, I requested the color coded pyro face, green, yellow and red. The best part is that it is now paid for, I only made 2 payments. That was the plan to begin with sell the Toy and pay the Ram off.
Next on the list is to move the plate forward or a #6 plate and boost elbow. TC lock up switch, BHAF, shocks and save for a tranny.

Just for your record - I paid for and install for a BD-Torc-loc and I have used it - lets see ..mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm . NOT ONCE!!

Save your money on the lock up switch and get the tranny a new Tc and VB.

Just a waste of money unless your installing a e-brake.
Re:New stuff.
Maybe I'm using the wrong name (still new to this). I'm talking about the tc lock up switch that you just splice into the wiring. Only cost should be a few feet of wire, switch and a relay to switch back to normal operation when brake pedal is applied.
Are we talking about the same things? I don't see an exhaust brake in my future, I just don't tow very many heavy loads. All though I do like the sound of them.
