New dash install

Has anyone ever replaced their own dash (top piece) in a 98.5-2002 2nd gen? If so how hard is it to do? How long does it take? What all has to come off? Should I attempt the job myself?

Suprisingly, the Hanes books have a pretty good write up on dash removal. Several members here have done write ups also. Do a search on it.
