new dash?
My dash is cracked (nothing new I know) AND I was going to replace with the one Geno sells BUT, Genos has them on back order AND I need to replace my heater core before the weather turns cold.

Geno is keeping the manufacturer a secret. wholesalemopar.com wants ~ $500 delivered.
What other sources are there for a dash, not a dash cap?

I remember seeing those dashes on ebay before Geno's started selling them. Its been awhile and I can't recall the name of the seller. You may try searching there. I believe the seller was the manufacturer.
If you have the agate (charcoal) interior, $500 shipped is not a bad price. I paid over $400 for mine from the local dealer. I got lucky because someone had ordered it and never picked it up. From what I hear the OEM dashes are hard to come by as well.
As far as I know Geno's may be the only place to get the aftermarket replacement. Good luck.

Apparently the same one Genos sells is becoming available on the street. I'm cheap - gonna find it for less. No sense paying retail. Will try another site where I can take bids.

I watched a vid of a dash cap install & may go that route when I pull the dash for heater core.

I have that exact dash cover and it makes all kinds of noise. Maybe I s/h used 3 more tubes of silicone b/c it sounds like chity chity bang bang going down the road. I did like the dramatic sounds in the video. I'm at a point where I don't know if I should try to "re" silicone it or replace the entire dash. I'm afraid if I drive down a rough road the dash is going to be in my lap.

I paid $27 for my last two dash units complete with bezel, glove box, kick panel, switches etc... Look in your local U pull yard. Find a "work truck" that never had armorall sprayed on the dash. The dash never cracks if that crap never gets sprayed on.
