n.j. inspection fyi

went to dmv for inspection this morning and the guy opened my door and said they will not inspect it, aparently if you have a diesel and the gvw on the vin sticker on the door is 10,000 or more you do not get an inspection in n.j., he gave me a printout to keep in the truck, can't wait to try and explain this to a cop , and no I am not registered commercial

Thats the truth, you should actually be registered for over 10k #. I have had my truck for about a year and never gone to inspection, never had a problem. Cops shouldn't require much explaining, this is rather commonplace...

Holds true for smog in Nevada also. I'm exempt from yearly smog checks due to the GVW. Sweet!
