Any body try any fourth gen brake parts onto a 2nd gen truck to see if they fit? The fourth gen front brakes (14.1 in rotor vs. 13.8 in rotors) are even bigger than the 3rd gen brakes. I might check into this as I'm currently rebuilding my brakes on my 02.

Good thread guys.

my 1995 had the worst brakes ever, then I broke my pinion and found a rear disk Dana 70 for $200, grabbed it and and after a few bumps in the road like Ebrake cables and re-flareing the lines to a larger size i now have amazong brakes! Wish I could do the 3rd gen rotors but mine are the sucky ones that require me to pull the entire hub apart

ok I m really reaching to see if any one has tried to see if the forth gen rotors etc swap fits. lol im hoping someone in the past 2 years has tried by now and has an answer. I need to do this swap before I put twins in this truck. lol because I know when I do im gonna need the stopping power running 39.5 in tires after I wear out the 37's.
