Re:mud flaps for 4x4

AutoZone has good long flaps for 4X4s. Nothing fancy but they do the job - and inexpensively. If you want fancy you can add your own diamond plate, polished stainless, etc.

Stan

Simple low cost but reasonable good looking mudflaps are available at you local, friendly Dodge dealer. I just got a set to hold me over for $16.00 a pair. These will hold me until I get to NorthWest Custom. His are great and he does custom stuff also. Web page is: NW Custom

Re:mud flaps for 4x4

I bought my truck used 3 months ago. I have the Mopar plastic mud flaps. I was washing it the other day when I notice the edge of the mud flap that touches the paint has rubbed right through the paint down to the bare metal on all 4 flaps. Anybody else have this happen? You would think they would have a rubber strip on the edges so it doesn't gouge the paint. >

I have Kaydenco flaps. They are available with stainless hardware and come with anti-sail brackets and polished stainless weights. You can select different lengths too. They're sold direct from the manufacturer, online.

Re:mud flaps for 4x4

Just go to the dealer for Dodge extra long 4X4 mud flaps. Very durable and 'v' grooved so strong. Works great to keep my running boards clean.

Hey, Marky Mark,

Are the Mopar mudflaps that wear through the ones that mount inside the wheel opening or are they the ones that wrap around to the outside of the body?

These mount on the inside with screws, wrap around & touch the body. This is where it has rubbed through the paint. :'(

****, I wish you would have told me you were looking for flaps! I am selling my Pro-Flaps for $25! They were on the rear and I just upgraded to Sam's custom flaps last weekend... (Just like I have up front)
If anyone wants my flaps, let me know. They look brand new, and are just sitting in my garage taking up space!
