Moving windshield fluid resevoir, ideas?

Im trying to find some space to fit a tall fuel filter assembly (racor 900 or 1000fg?) in the engine bay. Theres not a whole lot of room anywhere, of course.
Heres a weird idea I just had.. what about removing the washer fluid resevoir and trimming the plastic mount on the radiator shroud.. then mounting the filter behind the radiator there?
Anyone installed an aftermarket washer fluid resevoir up under the truck somewhere? not sure what to get or where to put it. Dont mind small capacity of stocker.

There is so much room behind the front bumper it may work there.

I would scour the wrecking yards for a Subaru res with the heater element. They are a lot smaller and may be a good fit. Replumbing shouldn't be an issue and it would open up a lot of space.

Just a thought.

I voted for him too last time! Its not our fault!!

That filter dosen't look all that big, I took my stock filter off and put a dual element in its place, had to fab an "L" bracket that comes off of 4 bolts on the intake manifold.

Probably was an Outback. They are everywhere around here and the only one's I can think of that I have really looked at.

You may also try an MB radiator reservoir/overflow. IIRC they are horizontal and could be rigged to work with a little fabrication.

Jeep Liberty's has a reservoir that may work for you also.
The fill spout is very long, you can't even see the reservoir, it's way down low by the bumper.
Makes it a hassle to tell how much is in the reservoir for refilling because all you can see is the spout that only holds a cup of fluid but may work great for what you need.
