mirror adjuster thing...

alright, ive been searching all over the internet and cant find what im looking for so maybe someone here knows.....the power mirror adjuster.....i got it out about a little over a year ago and im needing to put it back in and i thought it came apart some way but i cant for the life of me remember how i got it apart or what to do to get it in the door ... i feel like a tard but does someone have a diagram or can explain to me how to get this thing to work?

i thought it came apart and you stuck one half through the door...put the jam nut on and then popped the joystick on but idk.....thanks for the info! its appreciated...

ya it just slides through the hole on the door panel from behind and then you secure it with the plastic nut and then push on the joystick ****.

my truck had the power/heat sport mirrors on...about a year and a half ago i bought the dodge tow mirrors (no power/heat) so i took the control out.....now i have kool-vues (power/heat) to go in and im trying to remember how to get this thing apart so i can put it in the door.....no the door panel is on....

Yes, the **** should pull off and then you have to put it throught hole from the backside of the door panel. The kool-vues are nice I havent had any issues with them in almost a year.

thats good to hear....ive had mine sitting here for a while now haha.....i thought it just pulled off but didnt want to break it and wanted reassurance i was pulling on her pretty hard....didnt want to come off......ill pull harder
