Ok, have manual tow mirrors, and have some tow mirrors that are power heated off an 04. My question is how to a take them apart. I took the cap off the bottom but I can't figure out how to get the retaining clip off. Thoughts.

 

Cheaper to just buy them. Search "kool-vue", or go down the page a bit. A company is making direct replacements for our trucks now.
