Loss of power off the line? Please Help

I had to have my transmission rebuilt on my 99 Dodge Cummins 250 2/4 that I bought new in August of 1999. After the work was done I noticed that the truck doesn’t come off the line like it use to. After taking the truck back to the transmission shop a half dozen times with no results, I took it to a different shop to have it look at. The second transmission shop told me that even if I would have gotten a factory rebuilt transmission from the dealer I might still have the same problem. The second shop said that sometimes the tolerances can be off when rebuilding a transmission by as little as four thousandth and can cause the loss of power. He basically said the cheapest thank that I could do is to install a Super Chip to regain the low end performance. What are your thoughts? Help!

First, fill in your sig. Is it a stock rebuild using the original converter?
