Leather Seat Cover??

I have an opportunity to replace my cloth seat covers with leather covers, at no cost to me for covers and cushions. My cloth covers/cushions are in decent shape, just curious if there is any advantage going with leather covers.

Also, has anyone done this? If, so, what if any problems did yoiu run into? The seat belts are in the seat back and not in the pillar, would this present any problems?

Thanks
Bill

I don't know about advantages, but I have never owned a vehicle that did not have leather. I prefer the feel. Some people do not like that it is cold in the winter and hot in the summer, but it is not as bad a vinyl in my opinion. To me it would just come down to what you prefer.

Considering you live in Mi you probably want heated leather. The leather is quite cold when the temps dip but the heat will keep yer buns toasty warm

If you don't want to trade, let me know. I have the agate interior and would be willing to go leather.

I like leather because it wears much better than cloth. I'm in and out of my truck all day long. The 1st Dodge I had I wore the seats to thread in two years, then went through 2-3 seat covers. This truck has 160K and looks great.

I did have to have the seat fixed cause my butt busted a spring, but that's another story.

Huh what???

If BillH has an opportunity to trade or upgrade to leather, and he doesn't want the leather, maybe I can trade for or buy them at a good price. Seem pretty clear to me, more so than "huh"
